Cedar Hill ISD strives to make all students feel empowered and college ready. Likewise, our Theatre Departments encourage their scholars to continuously engage in learning opportunities.
We showcase our students' talents and artistic strengths in a variety of ways. We produce multiple productions a year, go on educational trips to see professional plays and participate in professional workshops.
Our goal is to provide 100% of our students a platform for educational artistic expression that allows them to become compassionate and powerful world leaders.
| Cedar Hill ISD Theatre has a long history of success and accolades. We are proud to say that we are a "destination program" where drama students from all of DFW desire to come to Cedar Hill High School and Collegiate High School. We have awards, nominations, and recognitions in competitions such as Dallas Summer Musical High School Musical Awards, International Thespian Society, Texas Forensics Association, UIL One Act Play, UIL Theatrical Design, and the August Wilson Monologue Competition. |
